OMG!! I am in love with the saree..Its soo classy and sexy at the same time.

How can I not talk about Makeup and Hair:

She went for her signature soft smokey eyes with Pink lips, but what really got my eyes on her was her side bun..(I am so going to do a tutorial on it)

        Today, I am reviewing this beautiful Nail Lacquer in 60 from Colorbar. Honestly, I dont know the name of the shade but its a gorgeous green(mehndi) color which looks so pretty on the nails.

Quantity: 9ml

Price: 100 INR

Shell Life: 3 years

What the Company Says:

The Quick Finish Nail Lacquer, with a simple one stroke application gives your nails a glossy salon perfect look in 60 seconds. It is chip resistant and does not yellow your nails. Use it with a base and top coat for a perfect lustre. It's just the perfect thing for your nails to keep them look manicured at all times.

What I think:
1. It isn't a one stroke application.

2. It does dry quickly.
3. It is chip resistant.
4. It does yellow your nails, if applied for 5-7 days.

PROS:
1. Smooth application
2. Nice simple bottle.
3. Great applicator
4. Inexpensive
5. Available in various shades.
6. Dry quickly
7. Chip resistant.

CONS: 
1. It takes atleast 3 coats to be fully opaque.
2. It yellows the nails, which i absolutely hate.

OVERALL:
4.5 out of 5.

FARA Nail Polish Review

Hey Gorgeous!!

Do u too get bored of same (almost same) nail paint colors...Well, I really do. No matter, how many types of pinks I have, they are from the same family and my nails and I really get bored.
I just realized, I haven't done a nail polish review since forever!

   So, in my recent search of nail polish, I came across the brand - "Fara".
I guess they launched sometime back in India, because while browsing for the review I found 'NONE' of it.
So, I wanted to give this brand a try and why not for just Rs. 49.

The shade I ordered is Leaf Green 104. Its a leafy green color as the name suggest :P
I was in a hunt to try out a new color, and it really satisfied me.
You need to apply 2-3 coats to make it totally opaque. I applied 2 coats.

According to the brand:
    "Fara nail enamel is a simple one stroke application and fortifies nails along with providing them a high shine and intense color" 
Fara Nail Enamel is formulated to dry immediately and chip resistant. It does not yellow the nails and is long lasting.

1. Freshly manicured look after drying,
2. Easy to apply brush
3. Leaves no residue while removing the polish.

According to me:
1.Its surely does dry fast.
2.I have this color on from the past 4 days now, and it hasn't chipped nor has the color started to fade (like in some nail paints it does)
3. The brush is nice.
4. I can't say about the residue as I haven't removed it yet.

PROS:
1. High Quality
2. Affordable
3. Chip Resistant
4. Staying power is excellent as per the price.

CONS:
1. Not available in many shades.

OVERALL VERDICT:
Its a great nail paint, very affordable, high quality, chip resistant but not available in many shades. 
I totally love the shade I ordered. 

WILL I REPURCHASE IT:
YES, I am ordering it in every shade ;)

DIY- EGG MASK!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

      Its my first blog post of 2013! It isn't a haul/review/look..
Its a DIY. (applause in my mind)
I am so excited to share this recipe with you.
I have been dealing with dry , rough hair...and by dry i seriously mean lifeless hair.
This is one of my favourite hair mask of all the time.
EGG MASK:

What all you'll need:
1. One Egg ( mid waist length hair)
2. A bowl
3. A spoon and a fork

4. Coconut oil
5. Olive Oil

Before starting, make sure the egg and the lemon is at room temperature.

Method:
1. Beat the egg with 1 tbs of olive oil and 2 tbs of coconut oil ( the quantity can vary as per the length).

2.Optional: If u wana fight that dandruff, add a tbs of lemon juice.
3. Comb out ur hair and make sure its tangle free.
4. Now start by applying it on the scalp and work your way down. It should look something like this.

5. Make sure you have coated your hair well from roots till end.

6. Make a bun and cover your head with a shower cap or polythene.

7. Wash off the hair as always in an hour or 1.5 hours.
8. Dont forget to love me with the end result.

This hair mask helps in strengthening the hair. It brings life, add shine and make the hair bouncy along with making it soft.
I totally love the end result.

Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Lipsticks - Review and Swatches.

Hello Gorgeous!

         Did ur Santa gift u yet!
 OOOOOO.....I forgot, its too early for christmas!
  Don't think I dont know which month of the year we are living in!
 After buying this lipstick from Maybelline colorsensational range, Chrismtas is all I can think of, apart from nude eyes and flawless skin/face, Winged eyeliner etc etc.

 SUMMER SUNSET

Honestly, I ordered this color for my Mom and even checked it online for the swatches but didn't knew the exact color.
So, when I first saw it, I was disappointed coz it wasnt the way showed online in swatches but then trying it out on and off..I kinda started liking the color.
It is one of those Red lipsticks which can be worn with the right makeup.

WAYS OF WEARING THIS LIPCOLOR:
> Apply it with a lip brush for lighter pigmentation.
> Wear it like you normally would for proper color

This is how it looks following the second way:

PROS:

1. Smooth and Creamy, Glides super easily,

2. Rich in Color,

3. Provides enough moisture.

4. Doesn't fade off easily.

5. Reasonably Priced,

6. Gorgeous shade, suit most skin shades,

7. Easily available.

CONS:

1. It will bleed as the color is strong and creamy.
2. Boring Packaging.

OVERALL VERDICT:

Maybelline Color sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick Summer Sunset is a wearable red shade that doesn't looks natural. The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy, its well pigmented and gives a wear time of about 3-3.5 hours. I kind of just started liking it. It can be worn with neutral eyes or winged liner. 
You can try it if you're looking for a warm red shade.

Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Lipsticks - Review and Swatches.

     Its diwali time and I am sitting at home..No Cards No party..So i thought of blogging..yipee...!!
     Another beautiful Shade from Maybelline colorsensational range.
        Dusky Mauve - When I first heard the name, I thought it'll be a dull mauve color..But...I was wrong I was wrong I was wrong (Ok, I am not a fan of Ekta Kapoor's serial)

 
Its a very pretty shade and I am in so badly love with and also I just dont understand why I didn't had this color???? Weird me!

Left to Right- One swipe, Two Swipes

  It is THE most perfect nude for me. The best quality of this shade...One swipe is good, Two Swipes are great, Three swipes amazing and it keeps getting better..The lipstick is nicely moisturized and it doesn't feel dry on the lips even after long hours of wearing. Its a great product for girls with even chapped lips coz it "genuinely" provide good moisture!

This is how it looks on me!

PROS:

1. Smooth and Creamy, Glides super easily,

2. Rich in Color,

3. Provides enough moisture.

4. Doesn't fade off easily.

5. Reasonably Priced,

6. Gorgeous shade, suit most skin shades,

Maybelline Color sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick Dusky Mauve is a gorgeous dusky mauve  shade(I didn'y found a btr word) that looks natural. The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy, its well pigmented and gives a wear time of about 3-3.5 hours. I simply love the shade. I don't have a lotta negative points about it. It can be worn with anything to everything. Highly Recommended Shade!

A lil' description:

> First, I used a white base all over the eyelids taking it to the brow bone.
> Then taking a soft brown color from 120 manly pallate, I used it on the crease and blended it nicely.
> With an eyeshadow brush and an orange color from the pallate, I used it on the eyelid.
> Then, using a glitter gel on the lid I applied the gold and the copper glitter.
> I applied a gold shimmer color on the brow bone.
> I lined my eyes with a black gel eyeliner.
> I applied the lakme eyeconic kohl and applied a green color to the lower lashline.
> Lastly, I applied mascarra and falsies.
> Voila! We are done!

Maybelline's Color Sensational Moisture Lipsticks - Review and Swatches.

        Moisture color sensational lipstick range from maybelline is the product I am reviewing today. Its been forever i am wanting to grab these lipsticks but i just dont know why i dint purchase any of these.
     

Anyways, since I have few of these now leme take u to their description. I bought three lipsticks from the range: Buff, Dusky mauve and Summer Sunset.

In this post I'll be reviewing Buff !

"What the Company Says" : 

1) Fall in love with color, all over again: Crisp Color from pure color pigments

2) Creamy Feel, with a built in lip balm

3) SPF 15 for sun protection.

BUFF:

Review and Swatch

 Its a dusky orange color with reddish brown undertone, its an absolutely beautiful color, and will suit almost everybody. The lipstick is nicely moisturized and it doesn't feel dry on the lips even after long hours of wearing. A perfect shade to go with heavy as well as neutral eyes, and one of the fashionable color of Fall and Winter. If u still don't have it, GRAB ONE right now (okay! i am not forcing just Ordering..haha)

PROS:

1. Smooth and Creamy, Glides super easily,

OVERALL VERDICT:

Maybelline Color sensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick B42 Buff is a gorgeous dusty orangy shade that looks natural. The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy, its well pigmented and gives a wear time of about 3-3.5 hours. I simply love the shade. I don't have a lotta negative points about it. It can be worn with smokey (Greens and Blues and Purples) eyes or with neutral eyes as well.

Highly Recommended Shade.

Lakme enrich lipstick in 134...Review and Swatch!!

Lakme Enrich Satin - 134

Hey Beautifuls,

           I hope you're all doin great...Festive season is on, and what else is a better reason to do some extra shopping ;) . So, today I am reviewing another shade that i bought recently from the Lakme fantasy collection in 134 (they should have names too).  

Its a shade which almost everybody can pull off in their own pretty way. The first time when I swatched it, I thought its a lil' dark for me, then I thought there is always a second time and it was perfect.

I absolutely like this color. Its a nude mauve pretty shade with pink undertones. You can team it up with bold or neutral eyes. Perfect for daily plus formal wear.

PROS:

1. Smooth Texture, Glides on easily

2. Nicely Pigmented

3. Natural and semi-matte finish

4. Reasonably Priced

5. Easily Available..

CONS:

1.  I don't like the Smell/Odour.

2.  Lips feel a little dry after some time.

This is how it looks on me..Will upload do a total face picture soon.

Overall Verdict:

The quality of the lipstick is average when it comes to staying power and texture but the color overlaps the cons as itself is a very pretty color. I have read about the bullet breakage, but (touchwood) I have not experienced it till now (but if something like that happens, ill update) . I find the packaging pretty decent, nothing too fancy about it.

Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Color 133. - Review and Swatch

Lakme Enrich Satin - 133

"Nude" is making me go mad. I have not found my perfect nude shade from the longest time ever.

So, in search of my perfect nude, I came across this Lakme enrich satin lipcolor in 133.

Its a soft nude peachy color with brown undertones.

 Its a perfect shade to team up with Brown/Copper/Bronze Smokey Eyes or even with Neutral Eyes for a natural look. I find this color really nice but not much for pigmented lips ( like mine.. :(( sob sob)

ANOTHER ONLINE SHOPPING..

I have been obsessed with online shopping since the time I've understood it..(LOL)

Im in terrible search of a super great foundation (but im not able to find it..Leme know if u girls have any suggestions),  and in that search , i am buying all the other products i want or dont *wink wink*

Recently, I visited www.mygrahak.com and saw many products on discount, and who doesn't (all the girls shout yay!!!) like discounts. You should definately check it out..

  

      So I ordered few products and here they are..

It  got in a cardboard box without any bubble wrap or thermocol, which i dint really like, but since there were not a lot of products so it didn't bother me much.

1> Lakme Enrich Satins in 133

2> Lakme Enrich Satins ordered 135 but got 134.

3> Lakme Color Crush in 24.

I will be reviewing all the shades in my next post..

Just Gold ..

Hey Beautifuls..

 Just a quick review about this new Lipstick I bought.

So it was one of those days when I went out to buy random stuff(no makeup) and then I saw this beauty sales artist(yes! I call them artist, coz of the way they sell the products even when the customers aint ready or in the mood to buy) recommending this shade and I went ahead and bought it.

 Its from the brand “Just Gold” a reknown name in the local markets and since they don’t have names and the packaging says A-17, I call it Nude. (so basic, n I say I call it..blurr!)

It’s a pink base nude color perfect to wear everyday or one can glam it with Bold Eyes too.

What I think about the product:

·       *  Love the shade.

·       *Glides semi- smoothly

·      * Staying power is moderate

·      * Lips feel a lil chapped (If applied without moisturizing the lips before)

·      * Like the packaging

·      *Super Cheap

·      *Good Pigmentation.

Will I re-buy it:

I would like to go for more shades in this range, but I wont mind buying it and specially for a price soo cheap( Rs  100)
